"Kids Washbasins” Project

Within the scope of the efforts to fight the pandemic of COVID-19, we hereby present our newest project “Kids Washbasins” which aims to promote the inclusion of children in the prevention process against COVID-19 and all diseases whose main route of transmission is hand hygiene.

​

Our Kids washbasins excel in innovation, creativity, sustainability and in the education of an individual act to prevent diseases such Coronavirus, Cholera, Conjunctivitis, Norovirus, Flu, among others. 

​

The objective is to convey the message of the practice of washing hands to children in a more realistic, educational, sustainable, joyful and appropriate way according to different age groups, using cartoon figures, symbols representing national culture, national heroes and national landscapes (with the aim of recovering national and cultural values ​​that were once forgotten) through the illustration of the practice of how to sanitize hands, as well as the use of mask and alcohol gel in accordance with the prevention measures recommended by the WHO and the Ministry of health.

The project also aims to ensure the continuous habit of washing their hands when the children are in schools, as well as making them totally independent and active - in an orderly way - to take care of their own hygiene and, above all, to bring full knowledge to each one of them to the importance of this act. We intend to implement the project before the school semester starts, in accordance to the government safety measures.

In a first phase, we aim to implement 10,000 "KIDS Washbasins" in schools, vulnerable communities with large numbers of children, amusement parks, homes, children's orphanages, day care centers, churches, hospitals, condominiums, suburbs, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping malls, among other points. This is a 100% original initiative, designed, produced and registered by Change 1's Life to be implemented at National and International level with the individual and collective support of donors, collaborators, National and International partners.

 

Our washbasins are being manufactured at our facilities in Luanda (Angola). The workforce in the production area is proudly composed of 100% Angolan young people rescued from the communities sponsored by Change 1's Life.
